Thinkage WINYAY

YAY stands for Yet Another YACC, a package that generates software to parse text input. YAY lets you describe the grammar of the input language you want to parse and uses this grammar to generate the parser software. In addition to the usual YACC facilities, YAY supports grammars with multiple levels of lookahead, and provides special "preference" constructs that give you more control over resolving ambiguities.

WINYAY 2.0 is a Windows version of YAY that runs on Windows NT platforms. It includes an interactive facility that lets you examine the behavior of the parsers you create. In particular, you can type in sample input and see how your parser moves from state to state in processing the input. You can also simulate error conditions to test your error handling.

This downloadable version of WINYAY is an evaluation copy only. While it provides the full functionality of WINYAY, it uses a number of techniques to remind you that you are using an unregistered copy of the software.
